ISLAMABAD — Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information and Public Relations, Shafi Jan, held a detailed meeting with a delegation of the Pashtun Journalists Association (PJA)—a representative body of Pashtun journalists working across Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
The delegation was led by PJA President Qamar Yousafzai and included senior journalist Rehmat Mehsud, along with other prominent members of the media community.
During the meeting, the delegation briefed the provincial minister on the key challenges and professional issues faced by journalists operating in the twin cities. The two sides engaged in comprehensive discussions regarding the welfare, security, and professional support of the journalist community.
Minister Shafi Jan acknowledged the vital role of media professionals and assured the delegation of the government’s commitment to addressing their concerns and supporting media welfare initiatives.
