KARAMA (Web Desk) – The region’s biggest cricket festival, the 27th Annual Karama Super League (KSL 2026), officially commenced today, Sunday, July 26, at Karama Sports Stadium. Top teams from across the region are competing in this mega tournament, driving immense enthusiasm among cricket fans.
The grand final of the tournament will be played on August 14, celebrating Independence Day. Following the final match, Chief Guest and Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Asif Khan Mehsud, will formally inaugurate the Karama Sports Stadium.
🏆 Entry Fee & Prizes
Organizers have finalized all preparations to ensure a successful event:
- Entry Fee: PKR 4,000
- 1st Prize (Winner): PKR 250,000
- 2nd Prize (Runner-up): PKR 175,000
🏏 Rules & Tournament Format
- Knockout Format: The tournament is being played on a tape-ball knockout system. Each team is required to bring its own tape ball.
- Match Overs: Initial round matches will consist of 8 overs, while the semifinals and the August 14 final will be 10 overs each.
- Team Squad: Out of a 15-member squad, a maximum of 5 players from outside the district (across Pakistan) are permitted per team.
This mega event is organized by the Karama Sports Stadium Management, with special support from MPA Asif Khan Mehsud and District Sports Officer Upper Waziristan, Taj Wazir.
